Book face-to-face or remote appointments with your GP, nurse or clinician at a time that suits you if available.

Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.

Appointments

  • The surgery uses an appointment system. To make an appointment you can either ring, call in at reception or book your appointments online.  To use the online service you must first register your interest in person.  Please come to reception with some form of ID and they will supply you with the necessary forms and then you can begin using our online services.

  • The GP is allocated '10 minutes' to see each patient, however, it can take much longer than this to meet the needs of those patients with  multiple/complex conditions.  On occassions our cliniicans will inevitably run a little late.  Please be understanding when this happens and always try to book one appointment for one problem.  If you think you may need more time with the doctor please make sure you inform the receptionist at the time of booking.

 

Same Day Appointments 

If you feel you need an appointment on the same day please call between 8am and 10am

 

Pre-Book - Advance Appointments

We offer selected appointments throughout the week for booking appointments up to four weeks in advance with the Nursing Team and out of hour appointments such as the East Lancashire Alliance (ELA) service.  If you wish to book an advance appointment please call after 10.30am

You can request to see a clinician of your choice and we will try to accommodate this however if it is not possible you will be offered an appointment with a different clinician - e.g. GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Practice Paramedic, FY2, ST and medical students who are mentored by a GP.

You can register to receive information regarding appointments and health care. If you wish to register for this service please fill out the text message consent form.

 

Cancelling Appointments

Please always cancel your appointment if you cannot attend so we can offer the appointment to another patient in need - Please see our non-attendance policy for further details on this.
