What We Can Treat

Simple Wounds & Minor Injuries

We can provide care for:

  • Minor wounds requiring cleansing and simple dressing
  • Wound swabbing
  • Superficial burns
  • Superficial skin ulcers
  • Simple skin tears
  • Lacerations suitable for closure without sutures
  • Removal of sutures/staples
  • Post-operative wound care
  • Simple cellulitis
  • Category 1 and Category 2 pressure ulcers

Treatments Available

Our nursing team may provide:

  • Wound assessment and monitoring
  • Cleaning and dressing of wounds
  • Infection assessment
  • Dressing changes
  • Basic pressure ulcer care
  • Advice on wound management at home
  • Monitoring of healing progress
  • Referral to specialist services if required

Appointment Information

Please attend your appointment with:

  • Any existing dressings if possible
  • Details of any recent surgery or hospital treatment

If you are unable to attend, please contact the surgery to cancel your appointment.

Please Seek Urgent Medical Attention If You Have:

  • Heavy bleeding that will not stop
  • Deep wounds exposing muscle or bone
  • Suspected fractures
  • Signs of severe infection
  • Extensive burns
  • Animal or human bites
  • Wounds requiring stitches
