In Surgery Health Visitor Service is Withdrawn

The Practice has been advised that from the 1st April 2015 all Health Visitors will deliver their services a community setting.

As a result the Practice is no longer able to offer drop in Health Visitor services from our premises.

All patients wishing to see the Health Visitor should contact:

The Chai Centre (Combined Children’s Centre and Healthy Living)
Hurtley Street, Burnley, BB10 1BY

Tel: 01282 628459 - Fax: 01282 421190 - Email:

Please Note:

All Parents of new babies should contact the Chai Centre to arrange to see the Health Visitor to have your baby checked at least one week before your baby's first 8 week vaccination is due at the surgery.

 Out of Area Registration

From January 5 2015, all GP practices in England are free to register new patients who live outside their practice boundary area. This means that you are able to register with practices in more convenient locations, such as a practice near your work or closer to your children’s schools. This will provide you with greater choice and aims to improve the quality of access to GP services.

Cancelling Appointments

Please cancel your appointment if you no longer need it so we can offer the appointment to another patient in need.  This can be done via Patient Partner or the Internet at any time - night or day.
